Dr. Faron completed 9 1/2 years of analytic training and recently (April 2017) was awarded the Diploma in Jungian Analysis at the Research and Training Centre for Depth Psychology according to C.G. Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz. She attended classes for two weeks twice a year in Switzerland, and conducted her research and writing alongside her private practice here in California.

Another important aspect of Dr. Faron's training is her participation in a Jung and Shamanism Seminar. She has participated from 2005 to 2011, meeting in San Francisco bi-monthly, exploring shamanism in relation to analytical psychology and to the self.

Prior to her beginning studies in Switzerland, Dr. Faron attended a study group of professionals at the C.G. Jung Institute of Colorado, Denver, Colorado, ten months of each year from fall 2003 through fall 2007.
